David was one of the most genuine and caring people i had the privilege of knowing.

I will remember with great fondness the time David had invited me to Wembley stadium to watch the first community shield to be held at the new stadium, we had a fantastic day there, only to return to Dartford and both being Bared from the Railway Tavern Pub outside Dartford station (not our fault).

Happy times and David will be sadly missed.
